FNQ Sustainable Cropping Inc
FNQ Sustainable Cropping Inc (FNQSC) is a dynamic and growing organisation dedicated to supporting and advancing sustainable agriculture in North Queensland. Since our inception in late 2021, we have rapidly expanded to over 30 active producers and agribusinesses. Our reach extends from Cape York and the Atherton Tablelands to the lower Gulf of Carpentaria, highlighting our commitment to the region’s agricultural development.
Our Impact
Though a relatively young group, FNQSC is a significant player in North Queensland’s cotton and cropping industry. We represent approximately 80% of the region’s cotton production, covering about 10,000 hectares this coming season. Additionally, our potential cropping area exceeds 20,000 hectares, positioning us as a pivotal force in the region’s agricultural landscape.

FNQSC believes in inclusivity and community involvement. We maintain an open meeting policy, welcoming anyone with an interest in sustainable cropping to attend our meetings. However, to ensure a structured and democratic process, only paid members are granted voting rights.
